Senior Brand Manager

TOMY has an outstanding opportunity for a full-time Marketing Assistant Intern to join our Marketing Team based in Weybridge, Surrey for a 12-month paid placement. This role would suit an energetic and playful individual who is passionate about Marketing, and interested in joining the toy industry. Working closely with the Head of Marketing and our teams throughout TOMY, the successful candidate will contribute to creating fun and rewarding play experiences that make the world smile.

Main Responsibilities

  • Product & Packaging Samples - Be the guardian for mock ups & models for new products - track product models during preview months and organise packaging mock-ups and product samples to be sent to customers as needed.
  • Competitor Analysis - Preparation of competitor / market reviews in response to business / product opportunities as and when they arise.
  • Amazon - Support the Head of Marketing with the Amazon marketing implementation. Manage the UK Brand Stores and own updates for all new hero lines.
  • Asset Creation and Localisation – Support Brand Managers in the creation of assets, as well as manage the localisation process of all product copy and assets.
  • Toy Fairs – Assist the Toy Fair leads to support of our attendance at all Consumer & Trade shows including London Toy Fair and Nuremberg Toy Fair.
  • Showroom - Take charge to ensure the showroom is pristine and that product is frequently replenished and manage the refresh of graphics.
  • Websites - Manage EU website updates (consumer and trade) liaising with the US project team and external agency to ensure all new lines in readiness for key season.
  • Catalogue – Support the Central Marketing team with the production of the EU catalogue liaising with creative services, brand managers, operations team and local markets.
  • Marketing Team Support – Work closely with the brand manager teams to support with brand presentations, and the opportunity to shadow members of the team at key meetings in order to develop marketing acumen.

  • Timely & effective management of projects allocated

  • Timely co-ordination of sales materials for new product launches.
  • Internal and external relationships / communication skills.
  • Quality of information provided for business meetings & reviews.
